Trial Package from Jillian's Drawers
My husband and I worked so hard to get Baby Jack on a good sleeping scheduled and to help him learn to fall asleep on his own. So when he slept through the night at about 15 weeks we were ecstatic. Then we started cloth diapering and I thought, oh no, I'm going to completely screw up this night sleep thing. I talked myself into avoiding cloth at night because "other cloth diapering moms do it" and I had some disposables that "needed to be used anyway." Let's face it, I was chicken.
I think I wrote about this before, but it was actually my nanny who first put Jack in cloth overnight and that was by mistake. She didn't realize that he'd be down for the night. So down little Jack went in just a gDiaper with one cloth insert. And he slept, and slept, and slept the whole 12 hours! His diaper was drenched when he woke up and had started to sweat through the liner, but that didn't seem to bother him.
I had no more excuses. Clearly Jack could handle a cloth diaper at night, I was the one having issues and needed to get over it. This was about the time my sample pack from Jillian's Drawer's arrived and gave me plenty of options to try at night including: BumGenius One-Size 3.0
Just recently one of the blogs I follow, 29 Diapers started a series on night diapers with giveaways. I plan to read all her advice (and enter all her giveaways of course) and make some changes to my night diapers. Pop on over and check out what she has to say and I'll keep you posted on what works for Baby Jack.
Check out her review and giveaway for Thirsties (and new prints, so cute!) and Knickernappies Inserts (these may be what I need). If you don't win you can always buy from Amazon.com
I also highly recommend her Ecofrugal Friday posts. Good advice on how to save money on all that stuff you need (or don't need) for baby.
