Aden and Anais Issie Security Blanket

Jack loves to snuggle up with something at nap time. For the past few months it has been a thin burp cloth. It's cute to see him all cuddled up to his cloth and since it's so thin I didn't worry about him smothering himself in his sleep. The burp cloth, however, was not remotely cute. In fact it was kind of ugly. I had no idea what to upgrade him to that would still be soft and light while being much, much cuter.

The day my Issie's arrived was a rough one for Jack. For some reason he was having a hard time napping and I took a minute to walk out to the mailbox to get a break from his crying. I opened the mailbox and there the Issies were. I quickly opened the package and rushed in to give one to Jack. He immediately stopped crying, snuggled up to the Issie and fell asleep.

 Okay, no he didn't. They are super soft muslin, not magic. He continued to have a rough day. He does now have a super cute snuggle blanket and I don't have to worrying that he's going to suffocate himself with it.


Assessment: Jack and I are happy with his Issie's and I think they would make a special and unique baby shower gift as would any of the Aden & Anais collection. Would I have bought them at full price? Maybe, they are nice, but I think Jack would have been just as happy with the old burp cloth.
